Love Letter

For those who missed out on Love Language on Friday, this is a glimpse of of what happened. In one of the brilliant games, the group had to use these five words to compose a love letter: pig, burning, smelly, calculator, and chewing gum. These are the two poems/letters they came up with. Have a good laugh!

Team One

Dear Pig Pig,
Can you feel my love for you,
smelly like it is burning
out in summertime?
The calculator is not enough
to sum up how much i love you.
I will stick to you like a chewing gum
whether you like it or not!
Love,
Your smelly hunnybun

Team Two

Compared to you
All girls are like pigs
Compared to others
My heart is burning more for you.
Compared to you
All flowers are smelly.
Compared to you
All calculators are outdated.
Compared to you,
I'd rather chew you than chewing gum.

ROFL!

Love speaks in different languages. These above, are just few instances. But now, I’m not referring to the above of course. It would kill me completely to master those different love languages that are not my mother language in order to express my love.

Some say “I love you!” are empty promises. But how would you know? Are there more to love languages than just “I love you!”?

Yes! Dr. Gary Chapman has identified that we, humans, speaks five different love languages that apply to any relationship. Come this Friday (LUCT Campus, Design 11 (B3/L2/D11), 12.15pm) to find out more of what love language you speak!
