Love Language

English : I love you
Bahasa Malaysia : Saya cinta padamu
Mandarin : Wo ai ni
Cantonese : Ngo oi nei
Hokkien : Wa ai lu
Hakka : Ngai oi ngi
Japanese : Kimi o ai shiteru
Korean : Sa rang hae yo
Thai : Phom Rak Khun
Italian : Ti amo
Indonesian : Saja kasih saudari
Hebrew : Ani ohev at/atah
Greek : S’ ayapo
French : Je t’aime
Arabic : Ana behibak/behibek
Africans : Ek het jou lief
Tagalog : Mahal kita
Vietnamese : Toi yeu em
Taiwanese : Gwa ai lee
Tamil : Naan Unnai Kadhalikiren

Love speaks in different languages. These above, are just few instances. But now, I’m not referring to the above of course. It would kill me completely to master those different love languages that are not my mother language in order to express my love.

Some say “I love you!” are empty promises. But how would you know? Are there more to love languages than just “I love you!”?
